About the Author
Scott Irvine is a former rugby league referee who has served in administrative roles within the Queensland Rugby League. The most recent being Secretary of the Brisbane Rugby League Referees Association from 2013 to 2019. He has been documenting the history of the Association in the lead up to its centenary year in 2026. Scott is based in Brisbane and is employed as a natural resource scientist for the Queensland Government.
